Damaged Souls - A Poem

 

DAMAGED SOULS

 

We are all damaged souls, looking for a place to heal.

Some people put faith in false idols, others look for something real.

If we could all accept each other as we truly are,

Without prejudice of thought or sight or heart,

Maybe the healing could at last begin,

And the world would know no strangers, only friends.
