FROM THE MOON TO A STAR

Oh, how I long to be

The laughter in your eyes!

But you seem so far above me,

I cannot reach the starlight for the skies!

Come down from your heavenly throne

And be where I can touch you,

I'm so tired of being alone

I want to be loved by you.

Fly to me on your fiery wings

And warm me with your smile,

Come give my heart a song to sing

Come love me for awhile.
